FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. What do you stock?
    We stock Bridal Gowns, Bridesmaid/Occasionwear and Mother of the Bride.

     

  2. What is your price range?
    Bridal Gowns £1000-£2550
    Bridesmaid/Occasionwear £250-£400
    Mother of the Bride/Groom £150-£700

     

  3.  What happens if I find a dress I love?
    An order is placed for a brand new gown with a 50% deposit, measurements are taken from you to determine size and when the dress arrives the remaining balance is payable within 14 days.  A seamstress service is then available to you for any alterations and customisations which are payable separately depending on the work being done.

     

  4. How long does it take for dresses to arrive?
    Bridal gowns take 16-20 weeks, Bridesmaid/Occasionwear 8-10 weeks and Mother of the Bride/Groom 6-8 weeks.  Delivery times can vary, with some dresses even arriving earlier than given dates, and be affected by seasonal holidays so we always ask for a minimum of 6 months where possible for Bridal orders.

     

  5. How many people can I bring to my appointment?
    We ask that you limit the number of people accompanying you to 3.  Space is limited in the changing room area and we find that too many people can confuse things leading to unnecessary stress when making decisions.  Follow up appointments are possible if yo
    u have more people you'd like to see the dress or
    WiFi is available for video calls.

     

  6. How do I know what you have available to try on?
    Our designers make a huge range of dresses and sadly we can't stock everything they do! So in order to show you exactly what to expect when you come to see us the Designer images of the dresses we have here at the shop as samples are in the Gallery section.  Click the tab in the header above and you can choose which selection of dresses you'd like to view.
     

  7. Do you charge for appointments?
    There is a £25 charge for Bridal and Bridesmaids appointments, this will be deducted however from any order placed.   
     

  8. What can I expect from an appointment?
    We aim to provide an inviting and relaxing environment for everyone visiting us.  Tea, coffee and comfy seating for accompanying guests help to make sure you all feel welcome.  A fully knowledgable personal assistant is there to help you for the entire duration of your appointment, ensuring you get a proper feel for the dresses, helping with fit when trying on and to answer any questions that come up along the way.
     

  9. Do you buy back dresses after they have been worn?
    We do not purchase dresses after they have been worn by our Brides or any who have bought elsewhere.  This is due to lots of reasons but mainly due to them having been altered to fit the previous wearer making them more difficult to fit to anyone else and due to us having storage limitations with our own samples to sell after discontinuation by Designers.
